My role
I worked as the Writer, co-producer, director, editor, animation supervisor, Poster Designer, and colorist for a crew of 50 very talented people.
We were also an awardee of the NAU undergraduate research Sparcs grant, which allowed us to expand our crew to two teams of animators and artists from Nau’s student society.
PREPARATION
Utilizing Cadradge - a phone app used by cinematographers to screen how much coverage different camera lenses would provide, and to get a good concept of how the edit will flow together.

“The Legend of Gelert the Great” is a real Welsh folk tale that explores themes of patience, betrayal, and grief.
I adapted the folk tale to be intertwined with an original story that parallels its journey and used an animated segment to accurately tell the original folktale but in my own way.
